Daily has five secret words. Free Play is unthemed.

Slide belts

Drag outer letters to slide a belt; letters wrap around its eight positions.

Turn the cube or twist a layer

Turn Cube moves the whole cube. Twist Layers moves one slice. Each completed physical quarter turn spends one move.

Rotate the face to read it

Two fingers · twist the view

Place two fingers on the cube and twist to rotate the face you’re viewing. The same face stays in front; no move is spent.

Rewind your view

Tap Rewind to revisit your last view, one step at a time. Your letters, words, score and moves stay exactly as they are.

No earlier view? The key rests until you change your view. It still works after all seven credits are used.

Words can run in four directions

Start at either end. Select adjacent letters in a straight line—left, right, up, or down. Words can continue across a cube edge.

Select and Freeze

Tap consecutive inner letters on one straight path, then Freeze a word.

Cross and wrap

Share a perpendicular letter or continue across a face edge to earn bonuses.

Daily word hunt

Mark five secret words in the original sheet, then build and Freeze them on the cube.

Keep a Cubesake

Save a Cubesake anytime, then share its picture while your game stays open.

More rules

One natural Q doubles Letter points and Length bonus in each word using it.
Crossings join at most two words per tile, in perpendicular directions. Face-edge wraps earn bonuses.
Word Lock On protects active words. Off allows fracture and repair with the original tiles. Thaw retires a word.
Eight one-use replacements: choose a credit, choose a letter for *, then tap its destination.
Progress saves on this device. Keep a backup; there is no cloud sync.
